“Could not fault this hotel”

Publicado por admin en 25 Feb 2008 | Etiquetado como: Created by clients of Magic Costa Blanca, Customer Views, Young couples

Ashdown59, Ilkeston, Derbyshire  2 january 2007. Opinion of costumer of Magic Fenicia through Tripadvisor

My husband and I stayed here for the first time in March 2003 to celebrate our 25th Anniversary and were most impressed with the hotel, food and entertainment (Ali G lookalike). We had a wonderful week and were so confident we took my parents there the following year. They can be a bit picky but had a thoroughly enjoyable week with the only problem being access for a wheelchair. We have tried to book here again but no luck through the travel agent, seems you have to book this hotel and flight separately, hence seeing the reviews - which I couldn’t believe. Has this hotel deteriorated out of all recognition or is this a different hotel?

The best: The rooms were great on both occasions - so was the food
The worst: Content of Picnic Lunchbox

Suggestion: First time we’d used a taxi to/from resort but what a brilliant experience

My hollidays in Benidorm “Great Holiday yet again in Magic Fenicia”

Opinion of customer by PeterLANCASHIRE, Lancashire  30 oct 2007

We have stayed (my wife & myself) at the Fenicia Hotel (now named Magic Fenicia) in Benidorm on 4 occasions the last 3 were 4 years ago. We booked our recent holiday then found all the negative reports on the internet. We did not believe that an Hotel could go down so much so we carried on & went anyway.
The Hotel, food entertainment, cleanliness, ammenities were as good as ever. The major complaints which we read before we went was about food & the Spanish being in the Hotel. We returned from the Fenicia on Sunday 28 October 07. Yes the spanish were in the Hotel in great numbers but surely we have all heard the saying eat were the locals do, sleep were the locals do.Yes the food was local but if you go to Spain what do you want ?. I want Spanish Food not food that I eat all year round, if you want English food stay in the U.K.
The fantastic concept of this Hotel chain is that if you go all inclusive you can drink ( soft drinks, brews, alcholic drinks & dine ) at any of their establishments, great you can dine & watch shows & drink any were anytime.
I will admit that I am Coeliac ( wheat free diet) even this was not a problem great choices & advice always available.
So lets stop kicking the Hotels if we want English stay at home & enjoy the rain.

The Best: ALWAYS DID THEIR BEST & ALWAYS WENT THAT LITTLE BIT EXTRA

The Worst: NOTHING EVERYTHING GREAT

“Brilliant Hotel with First Class Staff”

Opinion of costumer of Magic fenicia through Tripadvisor, by Pajo1966, Wales  17 feb 2008

We have just stayed in this hotel for the second year running, and plan on going there every year. The hotel is ideally situated in the Old Town, amongst many shops, bars and eating places. The beach and harbour is about 50 yards infront of the hotel. The rooms are well kept and clean, as is the hotel generally. The staff, from the time off booking in all the way to booking out, were absolutely fantastic and are truly an asset to the hotel and the Grupo Costa Blanca. They were friendly, courteous and extremely helpful at all times, we had a good laugh with most of them. The food was really good, I am a fussy eater, but I ate most of what was on offer.

Sme people say it is a retirment home for the Spanish. There were a lot of elder spaniards in residence when we stayed there, but, if you respect them, they respect you. We had very little problem with them, and even enjoyed the company of some of them during the afternoon and evening.

Overall the Magic Fenicia is a well run hotel in an unbeatable location, and it is a pleasure to stay there.

I hang a review about Magic Fenicia Hotel from Mr. P.A Smith that is posted on holidaywatchdog:

We have stayed at the Fenicia Hotel on 4 occasions before but our last visit was 4 years ago.On our visit in October 2007 we found the Hotel was as great as ever, room’s spotless, well furnished, large rooms, including TV, fridge, kettle etc. We stayed all-inclusive, as always - this meant you can go & eat a meal, drink (soft drinks as well as alcoholic ones), watch a show or join in the all day & night organised activities at any of the groups 8 Hotels in Benidorm. This is a great concept; you do not have to make your way back to your hotel at say lunch time. We ate one meal at all the other hotels in the group the service & food was equally as good at each. Before going this time (after we had booked of course) we then found many negative reports on the internet & did wonder if we had made a mistake. We are glad to say we had not. With hindsight always a great thing we now realise that the comments we read were from mainly British Tourists who wanted only English food & company, maybe they would have enjoyed their holidays in the UK (in the rain). The Fenicia does have some English food always on their menu; also many Spanish people stay there all the time. I was always told that the best place to eat, drink & stay is the locals go & this was correct again on this occasion..

I hang a review about the Magic Fenicia hotel of Kevin from Runcorn that is placed on Travelrepublic:

Hotel was very nice and well placed in the old town near the beach.
Was about 10 mins walk to the main square but soon got used to this. Could have done with an outdoor pool.
